2011 A.D (African Digital) : I think we are living in very exciting times, also very challanging i have to say.The year has hardly started and economies seems to be in turmoil,Brisbane is afloat and it seems Africa will obtain its 54th country.I had to sit down over a cup of coffee and make sense of all of this madness! Now let us ponder and reflect on the brightness of this African sun (son).I think we have so much to be greatful for, just this morning i could rotate my tap and taste the sweetest of water.I have to be honest it made me think,im always in constant bliss between reality and thought, present and past,Toureg and San,drought and sand! Every ticking minute becomes a ever elusive past, one that we could reflect over and undig like a archaeologist.I started digging and finding out what life was like under apartheid for my parents, this state of apart ness what was it suppose to yield, why do we as humans seek to impose and frown upon each other? I was struck when i heard the story of my friends Grandmother who visited Canada during the apartheid years, what stood out for this lady was the fact that she was treated like a human in a country that was strange to her. This morning i woke up from a blistering headache that stared at me like the blazing sun in a deserted island of sand;i had to sit down and reflect!

In my thought's i found the bluest of skies the clearest of oceans,i finally attempted to open my mind and i found i was still in this space with water and the clearest of skies.Hmmm where am i! Sometimes you find yourself in a desert and barren land and refuse to acknowledge the beauty in all of this "mess".To the future and whatever it may hold, may we all become fisherman in this deserted island.
